The hoisting of the cross-river corridor of the "Bangladesh Barge Loading and Conveying System Project" of SRON has been completed

Recently, the Bangladesh barge loading and conveying system project undertaken by SRON has made significant progress in construction - the installation of the highly difficult steel structure of the cross-river corridor has been completed. As a key node of the project, the successful completion of this hoisting is of milestone significance.

The project covers 1 set of 700T welded steel plate silo and supporting steel structure, 3 sets of steel structure transfer station, 2 truss integrated belt conveyor, 3 conventional belt conveyor, steel structure of cross-river corridor, as well as supporting plow unloader, 2 sets of shipboard system, dust collector and other process equipment, including the overall electric control system, the main storage and loading material is limestone. As the project is a combination of new and old equipment engineering project, involving the original equipment, dock loading new and old steel structure and other equipment combined with the transformation of the construction, across the river section of the corridor and dock transformation, hoisting, repair, etc., the complexity of the technical program, the difficulty of installation and the workload is relatively large. Among them, the total length of the corridor across the river section is 56.3M, the width and height are 4M, the lifting height is 30M and the total weight is 58T, which brings great challenges to the cross-river hoisting.

Faced with the above situation, the project team of SRON strictly followed the company's implementation rules for dangerous and major project management, made detailed arrangements before the hoisting, conducted simulation demonstrations on the hoisting point positions and booths, and actively communicated and coordinated with the owner, professional hoisting companies and other relevant parties and completed the related handover; one end of the corridor across the river section was connected to the TT26 transfer station, and the other end was connected to the TT25 transfer station. The site adopted a double-machine lifting and hoisting, bear 75% of the lifting load, the other is 120T car crane, bear 25% of the lifting load; lifting before the implementation of the position of the crawler crane (pontoon boat) and truck cranes for river dredging, ground reinforcement, outrigger fixing and other measures, and each lifting with steel wire rope, hooks, lifting points for rigorous inspection, and multi-measures to promote the safety of lifting operations; At the same time, each lifting position was strictly deployed, with clear division of labor and cooperation, and an experienced professional lifting commander was assigned to ensure the safe and smooth completion of the lifting of the cross-river corridor.

The successful completion of this important construction node marks that SRON has stepped onto a new level in the construction of ultra-dangerous large hoisting projects, and has also accumulated valuable experience in water surface construction operations. In the future, SRON's project team will promote high-quality performance through efficient management, and strive to make this project a high-quality and fine project.
