The First Truss of SRON Company’s “Overseas 200,000-ton Clinker Yard Project” was Successfully Closed
Recently, the first truss of the "overseas 200,000-ton clinker yard project" undertaken by SRON Company was successfully closed at high altitude, marking that the truss installation of the yard project has officially entered a new stage of "raising higher and growing taller", which is of great significance to the entire project construction.
This project is a clinker storage yard and material feeding and discharging system invested and constructed to meet the environmental protection needs of clinker storage and transfer during the production of the owner's cement plant. The project is a truss structure with a total area of 16,000m², a length of 135.0 meters, a height of 39.5 meters, and a span of 96.0 meters. Since the project is being expanded within an existing factory area, the construction site is small and the construction organization is difficult; the owner has tight construction schedule requirements, so we need to cross-work with civil engineering; the span is large and the height is high, and the safety risks of the hoisting organization are high; the extreme cold weather and many other problems have put forward higher requirements for construction technology and personnel.
Faced with the above situation, the engineering center team of SRON Company carried out chain-based full-cycle management using the project as the carrier. Careful planning was carried out at the early stage of the project. The large-span bottom chord supported rectangular tube truss type design was selected for the ceiling. The method of sectioned hoisting and high-altitude closure was selected for construction. All management actions for the entire project execution were sorted out and simulated in advance; Pay close attention to implementation during construction and use PDCA tools to organize and implement dynamically; In the hoisting organization, the on-site project team gave full play to their professional advantages, monitored every aspect of the hoisting in real time, paid attention to the weather in a timely manner, and seized the windless window period to complete the hoisting operation in a timely manner, ensuring the smooth closing of the first truss at high altitude, and executing the scheduled progress node safely and efficiently.
Up to now, the main construction of the upper truss foundation of the project has been completed. The main body of the central axis column structure of the unloading device is being poured in sections. The on-site assembly of the trusses has been completed by one-half, and the hoisting and high-altitude assembly construction is continuing.
